  1. Very impressed with your vluable information! Thank you.

It is going to snow in BC chilliwack tomorrow or the next day and we have beautiful view right off our deck so I am going to see what I can do with my canon camera. I will just be home in the morning from the hospital and all is good so looking forward to doing what you suggest.

  2. Do your the in camera adjustments you describe impact the RAW image at all, or only the jpeg?

    • Hi Gervais, that is a great question. It depends on the camera you are using. If you are using Nikon’s new mirrorless cameras like the Z7, Z6, Z7ii, Z6ii, they record the RAW info in a way that photoshop and Lightroom can see in JPG and RAW. But if you have an older DSLR, if you convert your image in Nikon View NX-I or NX-D (free software) then you can retain your RAW adjustments.

Thank you Kristian for your information. I am heading to Algonquin Provincial Park next weekend for some winter shooting and definitely I will adjust the settings in my D750 & D500 like you did and stay less time possible working in post. You are the Best.
