Studying Insects with Laowa

Phil Matthews, an associate professor at UBC who studies insect physiology, took these shots using the soon to be released Laowa 24mm Macro Peri Probe lens. This periscope lens allows for some unique perspectives, including looking almost vertically up out of the water.
