Perfect Accessory for your Tether Cable

Tether cables, especially the recognizable orange Tether Tools cables, are a vital addition to every photographer’s camera kit. If you’re like me, keeping gear organized and tidy can be a bit of a challenge. That’s where Starter Tethering Kits come in.

In the past, if you wanted a Starter Tethering Kit, it came with a cable. It could be confusing to know which one to order. It’s now easier to get your Starter Tethering Kit – it’s available separately as an add-on to your cable. It’s now easier to get your Starter Tethering Kit – it’s available separately as an add-on to your cable.

The Starter Tethering Kit includes the new TetherGuard Camera and Cable Supports, ten ProTab cable ties and an organization case.

TetherGuard replaces JerkStopper. It secures your USB cable while also removing stress and strain from your cable to protect the ports on your camera, computer and other electronic devices. TetherGuard now uses a threaded cable clamp plus an ingenious magnetic catch. The camera support attaches to your strap eyelet.  The cable support has 3M adhesive so you can mount it on any flat surface.

ProTabs are a staple in my kit. You can use on almost any cable to keep your cables wound and organized. One end is designed to stay attached to your cable so you don’t lose it. When you’re ready to pack your cables at the end of the day, coil your cable and wrap the ProTab around it. I use ProTab on power cords for my strobes, extension cords, HDMI and USB cables – even my phone charger cable.

Tether Tools Organization Case keeps your USB cables, TetherGuards and other small gear safe and secure. The large window makes it easy to see what’s inside. An added bonus is the quick release buckle on the handle – you can attach your case to a stand or tripod on location to protect your valuable gear.

The new Starter Tethering Kits will be available soon in Canada. Request yours from your local photography retailer. Learn more at www.tethertools.ca
