What printer would you suggest?
Hi Leah,
Great question. We’ve seen great results from Canon, Epson and Hewlett-Packard. You should use a dedicated photo printer – not an office printer or all-in-one. Whichever printer you choose should have a flat paper path from the rear of the printer to the front – not one that feeds from and returns to the front.
We always recommend using the correct ICC profiles when printing. These profiles are made for the most common and best performing inkjet photo printers. My recommendation is to look for a printer on this page and see which one fits your needs: https://www.hahnemuehle.com/en/digital-fineart/icc-profile/download-center.html
The differences between photo printers are subtle. Some use more inks than others, which will produce nicer, more accurate colours. You will also have to determine how big you want to print and whether you want to print from rolls of paper or just cut sheet.
A good starting point is Canon Pro-200 or Epson P-700.
