Our 2nd annual event was held March 25. The 2021 edition of Focus On Weston was online. When we set out to create our Focus on Weston photo event we looked to see what types of photography and what topics our 7000+ online members wanted to be involved with and to make sure our event helps local youth looking to get into the visual arts as well adults looking to get creative and enjoy photography.
Our amazing Speakers were a truly inspiring mix of creative photographers, amazing stylists and commercial photographers. Phil Sutherland from RevPrint Studios and Adam Weitner, owner of AstroLab Studios presented on their professions and creative processes in the RockPort Theatre. Will Prentice www.capturaphoto.ca from Broncolor Canada and PHOTONews Canada shared how to “Create Epic Selfies”. Leah Denbok finished the hour talking about her work and experiences photographing the homeless and sharing their stories.
