PhotoNews introduces “The World Through My Lens” Photo Challenge

A Travel-Themed Photo Challenge…

win trip to hong kong

For the PHOTONews 25th Anniversary celebration we have created a very special photo challenge “The World Through My Lens” – a travel-themed photo contest open to all Canadian photographers. This very special project will run in conjunction with our “Image Hong Kong” photo expedition in April, chronicling the adventures of our team of PHOTONews photographers – Kristian Bogner, Michael DeFreitas, Michelle Valberg, and PHOTONews Publisher Jacques Dumont – as they explore the sights and scenes of Hong Kong to deliver spectacular images for a special section to appear in our Autumn 2016 issue.

Follow the progress of our team of expert travel photographers on PHOTONews Flash and on their social media sites and blogs, as they share the secrets of great travel photography with readers throughout Canada and around the world.

“The World Through My Lens” is the most spectacular photo contest we have ever created, with a grand prize including a trip for two to Hong Kong and a range of additional prizes from our contest sponsors: the Hong Kong Tourism Board, Cathay Pacific, The Langham Hotel in Hong Kong, Nikon Canada, Vanguard, Hahnemühle, and Zenfolio.

Your assignment – to photograph the sights and scenes of your favourite destinations – your subjects could be as close as the view from your front porch or as far as the other side of the world… so grab your camera and get ready for a photo adventure!

  1. Bonjour!
Juste pour vous dire que j’aurais aimer participer au concours de photo de paysage, pour aller à Hong kong.
Mais les règlements sont seulement en anglais, et je comprends pas l’anglais.
    C’est dommage!

    Bonne journée
