Award Winners – Summer 2011

The annual meeting of the Technical Image Press Association to vote for the best photographic and imaging products in 2011 was held on 9 April 2011 in Istanbul, Turkey. This year at the TIPA General Assembly 29 member magazines voted for the best product in each category.

Patrick Di Fruscia is an awardwinning, visionary, fine art nature and landscape photographer.

In Photoshop, with the blank filmstrips on the bottom layer and the image you want to combine on the top layer, simply change the Blend Mode to “Lighten”. The top layer image will only show up over areas that are dark on the bottom layer, in this case the filmstrips. It’s just that easy.
