anne de haas
... "I've been so lucky to have the opportunity to work with the officers on this project. No matter if it was 30 below zero, summer heat or pouring rain, we all trooped out and just did it. ..."
about | Anne is a lifelong photographer and her experience went back literally to growing up in the darkroom of her father, Peter de Haas, who was a professional portrait photographer in Toronto for 20 years. She played the classic role of family assistant and feels that much of her knowledge and appreciation comes from this time spent with her father. Photography continued to be a part of Anne's life but adulthood with its usual demands of work and family soon took priority and Anne worked only for her own pleasure for some years.
